Beechfield Design began trading 30 years ago, set up by Alan Childe, a design engineer and draughtsman specialising in textile fan systems and noise control.
The company ran successfully with Alan at the helm until retirement beckoned, it was at this point that Neil Durham stepped in to head up the company and at the same time the company became Beechfield Design Consultancy Ltd.
Alan is still involved to this day but has taken more of a backseat in recent times.
Neil started off as an apprentice mechanical engineer some years ago and has worked for blue chip companies in senior positions in manufacturing before going it alone in 2011.
Neil is a degree qualified engineer and has held chartered status for over 15 years.
Beechfield Design Consultancy Ltd is a member of the FSB (Federation of Small Businesses).
